Internal Auditor – Short-Term Engagement

Remote / Riyadh, KSA Short-Term Contract CIA Required

About the Role

Burraq Partners is seeking a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) for a short-term engagement to conduct internal audits, assess internal controls, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in risk management, process improvement, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal audit assignments in line with professional standards.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify potential risk areas.
• Review financial, operational, and compliance processes for efficiency.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with management to ensure audit findings are implemented effectively.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional ethics in all audit activities.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Candidate must be available in KSA with a transferable Iqama.

Experience & Skills

• 3–5 years of proven experience in internal auditing.
• Strong understanding of COSO, ISO, and auditing standards.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
