Job Description

TheCivil Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating civilconstruction activities on site. He ensures that work is completed safely, ontime, and according to project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

SiteSupervision

• Supervisedaily civil construction activities such as concrete works, excavation,formwork, steel fixing, and finishing.
• Coordinateand direct workers, subcontractors, and equipment on site.
• Ensurework is executed according to approved drawings and method statements.

Planning& Coordination

• Plandaily work activities and allocate manpower and equipment efficiently.
• Coordinatewith engineers, supervisors, and other disciplines (mechanical,electrical).
• Monitorwork progress and report to the site engineer or construction manager.
• Ensureworkers follow safety regulations and site safety procedures.
• Conducttoolbox talks and enforce the use of PPE.
• Identifypotential hazards and report them immediately.

Material& Equipment Management

• Monitormaterial usage and request required materials in advance.
• Ensureproper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Diplomaor technical certification in Civil Engineering or Construction.
• 5-10years of experience in construction projects.
• Experiencein infrastructure, buildings, or oil & gas projects.

Skills Required

• Abilityto read and interpret construction drawings.
• Strongleadership and team supervision skills.
• Knowledgeof construction methods and safety standards.
• Goodcommunication and problem-solving skills.
